Owner

Oceane Maher

@ocean_goddess

EVO Model Management is owned and operated by University of Texas junior & native French speaker Oceane Maher. Prior to starting EVO, Oceane had a background in both business and modeling. In high school, Oceane was an avid runner and developed her own network providing coverage for track & cross country. She covered meets ranging from Texas Relays to the Junior Olympics, and conducted on-camera interviews with top runners including Olympic medalists; her coverage was frequently picked up by MileSplit.

At nineteen, Oceane was forced to take a break from running as she sought treatment for her struggle with anorexia. It was then she realized she no longer had a passion for running, and instead turned her focus towards the fashion industry. At age twenty Oceane decided to pursue her dream of owning a modeling agency, using her previous experience in business development and her background in modeling to set the foundation for EVO. From there she built on her connections by traveling and meeting with major agencies, and is now regularly in contact with the top agencies worldwide including Ford, IMG, Elite, Wilhelmina, etc. Oceane aims to give her models a positive experience in the industry by promoting health and safety in modeling, and she is an advocate in bringing awareness to eating disorders. Oceane is thrilled to make EVO leaders in changing the fashion industry.

After growing up in New Mexico, Leir moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University where he currently studies English and Philosophy in hopes of writing for film or television. His appreciation for fashion drew him to his position as EVO's LA representative; "I admire models and designers for their ability to create art out of everyday clothing and make it unique and elevated, and I'm interested in exploring the different extremes that fashion can venture into."

As EVO's LA representative, Leir builds connections with LA-based agencies and promotes EVO in the LA fashion market.
